Seems like it's time for another round up . . .
My knee continues to seem slightly better, on Sunday I'll see how I go in Janu B, hopefully start introducing that back in. While the general idea would be to do Janu A to replace each of the following ones, I have been shamelessly CHEATING so far, and only doing Janu A twice on each side before moving on. Most other things seem to be back, apart from Ardha Baddha blah blah blah - i.e. bending it up behind and letting it take some weight is not on.
My ribs seem to be easing up, but twisting is still limited. On both Mari C and D I'm not going for the wrist bind. First side of Mari D is back to not binding at all, but that's a combination of the knee, the ribs, the lack of practice, the extra body fat. So not really surprising.
Touched my fingers in supta K at home yesterday! I use a towel to bring my hands together.
You how if you don't have anything good to say, you shouldn't say anything at all? On that basis, I may never write about headstand again. I can't do it honestly without being negative, and it's all one big self fulfilling prophecy, so I'm avoiding thinking, reading, writing, talking about it.
I've been practicing fairly consistently this week - mysore class on Monday, half practices on Sunday, Tuesday and Weds (added in Bhuja p and supta k yesterday). Nothing yet today. Maybe I will, maybe I won't.
That obviously meant I won't, by the way.
